Shalyatantra Department ensures overall development of the student especially in terms of Value education and Use of technology. Students are encouraged & inspired for further studies and research. We Encourage faculty to involve in research activities, ROTP etc. We take participation in public health check-up camps. We also conduct lectures on health topics for the general public. Recently our department celebrated “World Piles Day” on 21st November 2014 which included a “Free Diagnosis and treatment camp for anorectal diseases” in the morning from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm followed by a Guest lecture by “Dr Y.G Solanki” a renowned anorectal surgeon and faculty from R.A Poddar Govt Ayu Medical College and Hospital, Worli, Mumbai
